Yogesh Chauhan

My name is Yogesh Chauhan, and poetry is my way of exploring life, emotions, and society. Through my writing, I aim to capture experiences that are deeply personal yet universally felt. My work revolves around themes of love, pain, resilience, and hope, with the purpose of sparking reflection and emotional connection.

But poetry is not my only language of living.
I love traveling — wandering into unknown streets, mountains, and cities, searching for stories hidden in faces and landscapes. Every journey leaves me with a new rhythm, a new perspective, a new poem waiting to be written.

Before I was a poet, I was a fighter — quite literally. As a boxer, I learned discipline, struggle, and the courage to stand tall even after being knocked down. The ring taught me that resilience is not about never falling, but about rising again and again, stronger each time.

I also carry with me the joy of play — the freedom of basketball, where the court becomes a canvas and every shot a chance to rewrite the game. It reminds me that life, like poetry, is a balance of precision, flow, and heart.

All these pieces — the traveler, the fighter, the dreamer, the poet — come together in my writing. Because poetry, to me, is not separate from life. It is life. It is where struggle becomes strength, where pain becomes art, and where every fleeting moment finds a permanent home in words.
